WITH THANKFUL HEART

With Thankful Heart is Dedicated To All The Brave Solders of World War I and II

With thankful heart, I shed my tears.

Though it's been, so many years.

For Husbands, Fathers, and Sons.

Who forfeited their lives, before mine begun.

Many are gone now, but this you know.

Through me and others, their blood still flows.

Brave Men, in World War I and II.

Made life possible, for me and you.

They Knew, they had to take a stand.

To keep our country, from enemy hands.

Traveling to distant lands, by air and sea.

Their lives on the line, to keep us free.

Gallant Soldiers, in uniform fought.

With their lives, our freedom bought.

So we could live, in a land of the free and brave.

Known to all, as the U.S.A.
